Ochre is a strategic creative agency working across branding, experiences, exhibitions, and spatial design. Their previous website no longer reflected the depth of their work, with issues across performance, usability, and clarity of communication. The goal was to redesign the website to better articulate Ochre’s positioning, improve engagement, and create a more scalable foundation for ongoing updates. The new experience focuses on simplifying navigation, clarifying content structure, and presenting the agency as specialists across their four core pillars.

The new system is so much easier, it allows us to be free and show off our creativity through the way content is laid out. It’s the baseline for sprinkling magic on everything we do.

FROM LAG TO LAUNCH Performance was a key constraint throughout the project. The previous site suffered from slow load times, contributing to high drop-off rates. The new system was optimised to load quickly, supporting a more responsive and stable user experience across devices.

CRAFTING EDITORIAL RHYTHM The News and Insights pages were designed as a flexible system for presenting long-form “thought pieces” with clarity and rhythm. Built on a modular, slice-based structure, they allow the Ochre team to compose articles with intention, balancing typography, imagery, and spacing to create a more considered reading experience.
